Urban Indian

  A CD of The Redhouse Family Jazz Band's original compositions, showcasing a wide spectrum of musical styles: Latin Jazz,

funk, jazz fusion, reggae, traditional Native chants/ flute melodies and even nature and animal sounds.

The band, comprised of Redhouse siblings, members of the Navajo Nation showcases each band members musical talents.

Six of the nine songs were composed by pianist Larry Redhouse. Mary Redhouse contributed the title track Urban Indian, and Charlotte Redhouse's song, "Oh Where Are You Tonight?" completes the impressive collection. 

 Urban Indian received "Best Instrumental" from the acclaimed Native American Music Awards.
